I have a stand Sunday 23rd March 2025 at the Mother’s Day Craft Fair, Field Place BN13 1NP. Find me in the Sussex Barn.

New Greeting Cards!

Just in time for the fair three lovely new greeting cards arrived from the printers a few days ago. They’re taken from my three most popular artworks: Wildflower Meadow, Wildflower Bouquet and The Scribbly Tree.

A lot of my art and craft is floral and inspired by nature so I’m hoping they’ll make perfect mother’s day gifts 🩷

Artist of the Month

I was thrilled to be Artist of the Month at the Floral Cafe in February (2025).

HERE’S MY BLOOM COLLECTION, and there was plenty more Silk & Honey art and craft on display around the cafe.

I think Rachel’s idea, to offer the opportunity for a different local artist to display their work at the cafe every month, is brilliant.

I made the most of being at the cafe during February and dropped in several times for a cuppa with various friends. I sold a few prints and apparently feedback about my work from customer’s was very positive.

The Floral Cafe is well worth a visit if you’ve not been before.

Art at St Barnabas

I’m thrilled my ‘Flowers in a Glass Vase’ was chosen to be part of a recent art display at St Barnabas.

A SELECTION OF ART by West Sussex Art Society (WSAS) members has been on display at St Barnabas Hospice.

Thanks to Stevan, resident artist at St B’s, for thinking of the idea and collaborating with WSAS, for what felt like a very special exhibition. It was lovely to hear how much patients, their friends and family and staff have enjoyed seeing art around the hospice.

St Barnabas have been delivering the highest standard of palliative care for over 50 years. They provide Living Well projects, Care At Home, Support Services and have an In-Patient Unit. Please consider donating to this worthy charity.

Silk & Honey officially launched!

MY FIRST EVER STAND was at Montague Gallery’s Festive Artisan Fair, last weekend November 2024. It was lovely to join and meet other stallholders. I think getting to know and being inspired by fellow artisans is going to be a really important part of my Silk & Honey journey.

It went well and was a real learning curve. I came away with lots of idea about how I’d like to develop my range of art and craft.
